During his stay in Perú Dr. José Santiso from the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) in Barcelona, Spain, attended the “XXXth Annual Symposium of the Peruvian Society of Physics, SPF2024” held in the city of Ayacucho, 18-22 November, 2024, in Perú, co-organised by the ULTIMATE-I team members from Universidad Nacional Mayor San Marcos (UNMSM) in Lima, Perú.
He gave a plenary lecture entitled: “Strain effects in vanadium dioxide epitaxial films with metal-insulator electronic transition”. As well, he imparted a 4 hours mini-course in “X-ray diffraction characterisation of thin films”
